Thanks for the mention! I'm kind of a mash-up. There is some scifi, sure, but a lot of hard-science horror and it's definitely modern-day suspense. Much to savor.

Too bad you did not want to put my name in your blog as the author of "Final Resting Places Orange County's Dead & Famous" the book has been selling quite well and has been critically well recieved. If you had taken the time to read my book, which I will assume you haven't you would been quite shocked at the historical sigificance it holds. I tried not to write a book about death but rather a book about life. It tells the story of people that played a significant role in the development of Orange County from the rancho era to modern times. It's not just about celebrities and tombstones. Some books that will not be mentioned are just that but mine is a historicallly significant contribution to the county's history. Next time I have an event stop by for a chat.

Hmmm...not sure what I can really say to all that. (Yeah, I'm a Twilight fan...not apologizing for that either.) Interesting that you keep coming back for more of Moore's vamp series even though it clearly doesn't appeal to you in the conventional sense of the word. Can't say that I've run into a series that has that much backwards draw....though I haven't read this one so perhaps that would all be explained if I ever do. I will say that it does speak to the writer's abilities that you are able to skip over an entire book in the series and still have a clear sense of what's going on (except for that first chapter of course...). Good luck on your next reading adventure....

I'm happy you enjoyed the book --sometimes I do make good suggestions. As you noted it was a quick and enjoyable read
