Why I’m Doing What I Do
This is a blog, a book blog, full of reviews, insights and thoughts compiled by a young adult ( which I still consider myself to be since I have not yet hit 30). During my daily routine of walking home from the bus after work I see valets (most often bundled up sitting on porches or chairs) diligently engrossed in books. As I walk by them I wonder what it must be like to be able to read for hours on end while waiting for cars to pull up. I dream of doing just that, alright maybe not the driving other people’s cars but the reading portion. I am an avid reader; I wake up and read; I ride the bus to work and read; I walk to work and read; I read at my desk, on my hour or so long lunch, on the walk to the bus, on the bus home from work, on my walk home from the bus and finally at home each night. I won’t even get started on the weekends. I read all sorts of books, fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, historical fiction, the occasional biography and young adult books (I tend to keep away from children’s books these days).
I don’t claim to be a writer, philosopher or intellect by any means as you will see in my forthcoming posts. I will probably come across as a bitter, possibly arrogant, argumentative young man. Frankly, I don’t mind or care. I am doing this for myself, my friends and any other people out there who are looking for a young(er) reader’s perspective. Um, things have changed a little bit so if you want to offer me a job or talk to me about a job, please do.
Enjoy, feel free to comment, and recommend any book that I may like or that you may like to see my response to.

Bookmarked in favs. I like that this is a blog about the person as much as it is about lit. For me it’s a blog of, ‘lit endevors’; not just books, but books stores, shelving, all things written. -which, all of us reader geeks can appreciate.
Thanks for sharing and then reminding me with sarcastic humor to read! Now I know where to go for SF reader events and if I need a book 4hrs from Vancouver. Thanks!
Ohh, some of my latest pub. work;
